Jaenisch Industries is located at Fergus Falls (population 13,000) in West Central Minnesota on Interstate 94. It was founded in 1946 by Harold Jaenisch primarily as a machine and welding shop.
It is presently owned by Steve Jaenisch (Harold's son.) Over the years, he has transformed the business from repair to fabrication and currently specializes in metal fixtures (railings, stairways, etc.)
About thirty five years ago he also got started building some metal art pieces, generally in response to customer requests, and continues to build unique pieces as a sideline product.
He continues to pass his wealth of knowledge and craftsmanship on to his son, Jeff, who also works for the business.
Together the crew at Jaenisch Industries has hand crafted several major art pieces and hopefully there will be many more to come.
